Directions - Surface Preparation
Clean the Surface: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, rust, and other contaminants.
Remove Loose Material: Use a wire brush or sandpaper to remove loose paint, rust, or other deteriorated material.
Smooth the Surface: For best results, lightly sand glossy surfaces to create a slightly rough texture and improve adhesion.
Application
Shake the Can: Shake vigorously for at least one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle.
Test Spray: Apply to a scrap piece or inconspicuous area first to confirm compatibility and desired finish.
Apply Even Coats: Hold the can approximately 8–10 inches from the surface and spray using a steady, back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each pass.
Apply Multiple Coats: Apply two or more light coats rather than one heavy coat to help prevent drips and runs.
Dry Time: Allow approximately 5 minutes to dry to the touch.
Recoat: Additional coats may be applied within 1 hour or after 24 hours. Avoid recoating outside this window to help prevent wrinkling.
After Application
Clean the nozzle after use by inverting the can and spraying for a few seconds to clear the nozzle.
